Maryann Gibbons
Maryann Gibbons is often referred to as a “connector”—someone who brings people together and moves ideas from vision into action. She has a distinct ability to see potential early, align the right players, and create the conditions for ideas to take root and grow.
She brings a unique aesthetic intelligence to her work—shaping projects that feel both intentional and impactful. In 2018, she left a career in child protection social work to pursue an entrepreneurial path. Owning a plant shop reignited her creative spirit and deepened her understanding of how spaces and shared experiences foster connection. When that chapter closed, Artypants Magazine was born—transforming community into a growing print platform that amplifies New England creatives.
Maryann currently works full-time as a Marketing Director, balancing her professional work with building Artypants and nurturing a creative ecosystem rooted in accessibility, collaboration, and momentum. She leads with curiosity and is grounded by daily wellness, writing poetry, and having adventures with her family.
